Since 2024, I have been teaching in the Media, Film and Journalism program at Monash University, where I have delivered tutorials across multiple undergraduate and postgraduate units. My teaching is grounded in the belief that media and communication education should equip students with the analytical tools to critically understand contemporary digital environments.
Drawing on my research in digital media, platform governance, and online activism, I encourage students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world media practices.
I also prioritise supporting students who are navigating academic study in a second language. By providing clear explanations of key concepts and using practical examples from global media environments, I aim to make complex theoretical ideas accessible and meaningful for all students.
Teaching Philosophy
I currently serve as Head Tutor at Monash University and Teaching Associate at the University of Melbourne, delivering tutorials and coordinating teaching activities across multiple undergraduate and postgraduate units.
Across these roles, I have taught in areas including media theory, digital media research, strategic communication, media audiences, and digital governance. My teaching has consistently received strong student feedback, with an average teaching satisfaction score of 98/100.
In addition to tutorial delivery, I contribute to curriculum development and teaching coordination. My responsibilities include organising teaching team meetings, improving tutorial materials, developing weekly teaching resources, and designing interactive learning activities.
I also design digital learning materials, including H5P interactive tasks, to support student engagement and participation in both online and in-person learning environments.
